Yoko Baumberger (a.k.a.Yoko Baum) is a Portland, Oregon-based freelance illustrator who specialized editorial, food and drink, nature and life-style art work.
Brief :
To create illustration for the poem "Millennia". The client needed warm, bright and enticing colors for the image in the summer issue. About page layout, they needed my illustration to be either a single page illustration or a double page spread illustration - I approached a single and a double spread in both ways as rough sketches, the client chose the double spread page ver. with the path running behind the text.
