Editorial Food and Drink Illustrations for FULL POUR Magazine 8th Issue

Brief :

I was commissioned to create illustrations for "Water Wars," an article written by Davon D. E. Hatchett for Full Pour Magazine. The story explores the critical issues surrounding water rights, the economics of agriculture, and the farmers who work tirelessly to produce the wine we enjoy. It examines the complex relationships between natural resources, sustainability, and human ambition, while also offering ideas for a better path forward.

The theme really spoke to me. Working on a story about supporting farmers, sustainable food practices, and protecting the environment felt meaningful and important. It was an honor to create artwork that could help bring such a powerful message to life.

The illustrations I created aim to highlight the delicate balance between nature and the challenges humans face. I wanted to capture both the vulnerability of our environment and the strength of those working to protect it. This project gave me the opportunity to tell a story of both struggle and hope.
