Yelpiversary Sweatshirt Illustration for Yelp – Custom Merchandising & Apparel Design
Client: Yelp
Art Director: Uli Bilke
Deliverables: Digital Vector illustration optimized for apparel printing, Post Card Design and Illustration
Medium: Lifestyle Illustration, People Illustration, Branding Illustration, Promotional Illustration, Merchandise Illustration
Brief :
I had the wonderful opportunity to create an illustration for a custom Yelp sweatshirt, designed for a Yelpiversary event celebrating community and local businesses. The goal was to design something fun, bold, and wearable that reflects Yelp’s playful and approachable brand. Working closely with the team, I focused on clean, high-contrast details to ensure the design stands out on the sweatshirt and works across other merchandise.
This illustration celebrates everyone—diversity and inclusion. It shows people of all ages, genders, races, and abilities. From a wheelchair user with sporty, confident energy to a blind woman with her guide dog, plus families, older adults, coworkers of many races, and even their dogs and cats as beloved family members, the design conveys an “everyone is welcome” vibe.
Thank you to Yelp for this amazing project!
