Food illustration : Spooky cocktails for a Halloween night ~ monster mash! ~

Updated: Oct 28, 2022

On Halloween night, all the monsters and ghosts come to your town and are having a party! You just don’t know, but they are next to you... yes, that’s not a costume, they are the real ones. And after a boogie dance, they are having spooky cocktails...(Surprisingly, it’s sooo tasty!!) Why don’t you join their dance party and have a spooky cocktail drink with them!

Spooky cocktail 1 : Death in the Afternoon

Do you want some creepy green drink? Death in the Afternoon is a great Halloween cocktail. Champagne and Absinthe combo, the flavor is delightfully intriguing! It's bubbly with a black licorice finish. Invented by writer Ernest Hemingway, it’s a unique drink to pull out to impress guests.

*1 1/2 oz Absinthe

*4 1/2 oz Champagne

Spooky cocktail 2 : Bloody Mary

With the word "bloody" already in its name, this quintessential brunch drink is a no-brainer for Halloween. While there are lots of different theories on how the bloody Mary was invented, one thing is for sure—it's a classic and it's good!

*2 oz vodka

*4 oz tomato juice

*1 pinch celery salt

*1 pinch freshly ground black pepper

*1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika

*1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

*1 tablespoon chopped jalapeño pepper

*2 teaspoons prepared horseradish

*2 teaspoons lemon juice

*2 dashes Worcestershire sauce

Spooky cocktail 3 : Dark and Storm

This cocktail has an earthy sweetness, a hint of spice from the ginger beer, and a cozy warmth from the dark rum. Perfect for a spooky autumn night.

*1 ½ ounces dark rum

*1/2 oz lime juice

*4 oz ginger beer (or enough to fill the glass 2" from the rim)

*lime wedge for garnish

Spooky cocktail 4 : Zombie

Blend white and dark rum with lime juice, pineapple juice and a splash of grenadine to make this ghoulish Halloween cocktail. This one is my favorite since I love anything tropical and sweet cocktails. (And these ingredients portions are for my extra large Tiki mug...) You can add cinnamon bon fire for extra fright!!

*1 oz dark rum

*1 oz white rum

*2 oz lime juice

*5 oz pinenapple juice

*1 teaspoon grenadine

*ice

Hope you all have a spooky scary safe Halloween night!!
